Miscalculation

Game 9

An holding “A♥” “J♥” suited while Andy holding “6♦” “Q♥”. The community cards are “10♠” “7♣” “Q♣” “9♥” and “8♠”. They both got the straight. Apparently An have a bigger straight. It is a total miscalculation for Andy.

The Miscalculation

The mystery of “Wheel”

Season 2, Game 6:

What is ” wheel” in Texas Hold’em?

A wheel is the lowest valued straight possible, beating any three of a kind, but losing to any higher straight or better. This makes the wheel a medium-strong hand in a high-only game.

We got A-K-4-5-3 in the community cards, what a coincident that An, Nate and Wing each has a card of “2”, make it three set of the wheel. (check out the picture of that game in the gallery page)

Bad Beat

Season 1, Game 4:

Wing is a chip-leader at the time. John and Wing both got three-of-a-kind by sharing a “Q” in the community card. John goes all-in with “Q” “A” while Wing call it with “Q” “K”. Wing loss most of his chips to John. Luckily Wing still pocketed $20 at the end of the game.

Pair of Aces or Full House?

Pair of Aces or Full House?

Season 1, Game 3:

George flop the nuts but he didn’t realize he got Aces full house. He could raise or all-in on his turn, but he decided to call. Despite his action, George won $45 and take down the 1st place.
